In 2013 I travelled one road that changed the way I live. I photographed everything I saw along the way, often travelling by hitchhiking, and for years those pictures stayed with me. In 2020 the idea came to reassemble them into a series. We see these scenes with ordinary eyes when we travel, but only from one position and one angle, and only once. We will never meet them again, yet a single frame can stay imprinted in our sight. Photography and technology help me hold that moment and make a unique image, one you can bring into your own space. The road is a metaphor for the path we choose. Every choice is a fork, and each frame is a place where I stood and looked.
